SymSoft wins 2009 Best Fit Integrator Award

SymSoft Solutions, LLC has been awarded the prestigious Best Fit Integrator Award for Modernization in Portals, for the California State Controller's Office Public Web Site Redesign and Modernization Project, by the Center of Digital Government. 

The awards acknowledged the best information technology integrators for their extraordinary digital solutions to public IT projects.  The awards were the result of public sector IT groups across the nation nominating their partner integrators whose solutions proved exceptional in areas such as cost savings, consolidation and public access.  Careful review of all nominated projects by Center experts then resulted in eleven winners chosen.

Cathilea Robinett, Executive Director of the Center, who announced the winners at the award dinner, said, “We see in these winning projects, how collaboration in solving digital problems is so vital to the modernization of government and its moving into the 21st Century.  Congratulations to all the winners for the excellent solutions created for public sector partners.”  Read the complete press release from the Center of Digital Government.

California State Controller's Office (SCO) nominated SymSoft Solutions for this award. SymSoft created a complete business solution empowering the SCO business staff to manage the web content using a Web Content Management System (CMS), and redesigned the website to improve website usability and accessibility. SymSoft also provided Change Management and Web Governance framework for the SCO. The project was completed 6 months ahead of schedule and within budget.
