Save Our Water Web Design and CMS Implementation

Save Our Water (SOW) is a statewide program aimed at helping Californians reduce their everyday water use.  Realizing that most water conservation sites are government run and have a staid, government feel to them, the SOW wanted to redesign the Save Our Water website to feel more interesting and friendly for visitors. 

The SOW team approached SymSoft Solutions to redesign the website to create a fresher, consumer feel, with support for more dynamic, ever-changing content and allowing for more interactive and sharing features.  In addition, the website needed to support the program's expanding social networking activities, and integrate those. To achieve these goals, the SOW team needed to implement a Content Management System (CMS) that can handle current requirements, as well as future changes and expansions.

SymSoft created the new Save Our Water website with a new and fresh design, integrated social media, created dynamic components including the Water Calculator, Water Wise Gardening features etc. in the website. The Website is implemented using Drupal CMS.
