Business Analysis & Feasibility Studies
SymSoft Solutions believes that every technology solution begins with a business problem, an issue that needs resolving.
Not that radical a belief, sure. Too often, however, we see organizations jumping straight to a technology that they think will solve their problems and overlook many of the specific elements of the situation and their impact. Companies end up with incomplete solutions and a distrust of technology.
To avoid this outcome, SymSoft Solutions provides business analysis of the organization and its needs before proposing a specific solution.
With business analysis, we start with simple investigative research, seeking the answers to such questions as:
- What is the problem, the business issue?
- Where are the impacts being felt?
- What are the opportunities if this issue were resolved?
- What solutions could address the problem?
- What technologies could support these solutions?
Armed with the answers to these questions, we define what is truly needed and then identify potential solutions, including such customer-defined needs as vendor pricing, economic analysis, or impacts on business processes. We also conduct feasibility studies of the potential solutions, to address whether or not a proposed direction or solution is actually viable, given the constraints of the environment, culture, market, or economics. This research might also include which of a series of solutions is most appropriate, giving customers both information and flexibility.
With a SymSoft Solutions business analysis and feasibility study completed, our customers can move forward with confidence, knowing that the direction they are pursuing is the one most likely to lead to business success.
By the way, that right solution won't necessarily include us. While certainly we hope that the customer chooses SymSoft to provide application development as well as analysis, there are some cases where we simply are not the right company for the job. In some cases, the best business solution doesn't require any new technology at all, but a change in existing processes.
Whatever the outcome, we are committed to delivering the best business analysis, so that our clients end up with the best solution, regardless of vendor.
